We have carefully selected each of our host families to ensure excellent standards with good food and comfortable accommodation. Host families are familiar with taking adult students, so you will have the freedom to come and go as you choose. Most importantly, you will feel welcome in the family home and practice English throughout your stay.

Details

Our host families will provide half board accommodation i.e. breakfast and evening meal. If you have any special dietary requirements, you should inform the school of this before you arrive. We will select the most suitable family for you based on your needs.

You can choose to have your own single bedroom or share a room another student, just let us know your requirements at the time of booking. The family will provide a fresh set of towels each week and change the bed linen once per week. The family will also include your basic laundry items, such as, jeans, tee-shirts etc. once per week.

We guarantee that there will be no more than one nationality per family (one Spanish speaker, One French speaker etc.) so you should not be tempted to speak your own language whilst staying with the host family!

You will be advised of your host family address and details before your arrival in Ireland. You can arrive on either a Saturday or Sunday – Depart also on a Saturday or Sunday. Check with us first, should you wish to arrive on a week day.

Location

Host families live outside the city centre in the suburbs of Dublin. The average journey will take 40-45 minutes by bus or train to the city centre / school.

Availability

Host Family Accommodation is available throughout the year. We do not provide host family accommodation during the Christmas Holiday period i.e. from Monday 17th December to Friday 28th December 2012
