Newgrange & Boyne Valley Day Tour.
One of the most extraordinary prehistoric sites in Europe, a passage grave or burial chamber dating back to pre-Christian times. The chamber is very precisely built in order to get maximum sunlight during sunrise on Summer and Winter solstice. The Boyne Valley area includes three huge passage tombs, which have been excavated and are open to the public.
