School Social Programme

The Horner School of English offers you the opportunity to meet and experience the people and culture of Ireland.

We organise an excellent social programme throughout the year.

We provide two activities each week throughout the year. In addition we organise full day coach tours to places of interest outside Dublin, such as Glendalough Co. Wicklow and Newgrange Co. Meath. Activity entrance fees not included.

Sample Activity Programme

Week 1

Tuesday	Evening of Irish Music at a local Bar.
Thursday	Afternoon Visit to the Old Jameson Distillery (Whiskey Tour).
Friday	Afternoon Indoor Sports and Tennis.
Saturday	Full day coach tour to Kilkenny City.

Week 2

Tuesday	Afternoon visit to the Guinness Storehouse Exhibition and Bar.
Wednesday	Evening visit to the greyhound dog racing at Shelbourne Stadium.
Saturday	Full day coach Tour to Glendalough Valley.

Week 3

Tuesday	Afternoon visit to Christchurch and Dublinia Exhibition.
Thursday	Afternoon bus tour to Dublin Zoo & Phoenix Park.
Friday	Afternoon of indoor sports and tennis.
Saturday	Full day coach tour to Boyne Valley and Newgrange.
