Pumpkin Carving & HALLOWEEN Costume competition. The tradition of carving faces into vegetables comes from an old Irish myth. In Ireland, people started to carve demonic faces out of turnips to frighten away evil spirits. Create your piece of art by carving a pumpkin for Halloween. (Pumpkins will be provided). The activity will take place in the coffee room. We will also do a Halloween costume competition. Winner will be chosen on Friday after class in the coffee room.
