We are currently using the Speakout 2nd Edition Series of textbooks in our general English classes. Speakout is a complete General English course for adults. It features BBC content throughout the course and helps learners increase their confidence in all skill areas, with a strong focus on spoken and written communication.

Speakout provides interesting content using authentic BBC material to bring the topics to life and motivate students to learn. BBC programmes and BBC street interviews expose learners to real language and different varieties of English.

Speakout is available at all five class levels from A1, A2, B1, B2 & C1.  The school always has copies of the books in stock and you can receive your textbook on the first day of arrival at the Horner School.

We will be using this textbook for our Summer 2023 courses (until Friday 15th September 2023).
