Marsh’s Library

Marsh’s Library, situated in St. Patrick's Close, adjacent to St. Patrick's Cathedral, is a well-preserved library of the late Renaissance and early Enlightenment. When it opened to the public in 1707 it was the first public library in Ireland. The National Museum of Ireland – Archaeology

In this museum you can find Irish and other antiquities dating from the Stone Age to the Late Middle Ages. Highlights include the world-famous Iron Age ‘bog bodies’, an exhibition of prehistoric Irish gold, and a section dedicated to an early medieval book of psalms known as the Faddan More Psalter.
