Standard Course Clients
All clients should come to the Horner School of English, 40 Fitzwilliam Street Upper, Dublin 2 for 09.00hrs on their first day (usually Monday) for their Grading Test and Orientation Session.
Grading Test
This is a straightforward multiple choice written test, listening test and short interview. This test is essential to determine each client’s exact level of English, to ensure he/she is placed in the class group most suited to his/her particular level.
Orientation Session
Immediately following the Grading Test, all new clients will be introduced to staff members in a relaxed and informal setting. Clients will then receive an Information Pack containing full details on their chosen course daily timetables, etc. They will also receive maps, bus and train information and useful information on Dublin i.e. food, drinks, postage, etc.
Business Course Clients
All Business Course clients should report to the Horner School of English for 08.45hrs on their first day. Grading will take place immediately and clients will be placed in their class on completion of said test. Introductions to the directors and staff of the HSE will be made during the morning coffee break.
